The Japan Mobility Show kicks off today for the media. Albeit the main focus of the show is on electric vehicles, there are also hydrogen-powered vehicles, from scooter to train by way of buggy.

We’ve already told you about the essentials, namely Suzuki’s hydrogen-powered scooter based on the Burgman, Yamaha’s buggy, the buggy shared by Toyota and several motorbike manufacturers in the Rhyse consortium, and the fuel-cell truck developed by Isuzu and Honda. But there is also an H2 Energy Festival area at the Japan Mobility Show. As Asia Nikkei reports, this area will serve as a showcase. In fact, it’s a stage that will be powered by Toyota vehicles. And throughout the show, musicians, dancers and TikTok influencers will be performing there.

Apart from the stage, visitors will also be able to see a hydrogen-powered train from the Kapan East Railway. This train was built in collaboration with Toyota.
