As the Monaco forum opens this afternoon, the organisers of the new Extreme H championship are showcasing their hydrogen-powered buggy. A photoshoot took place in front of the royal palace, giving attendees a first look at the vehicle.
Hydrogen Today is attending the event, which is a happy coincidence, as we are also covering the forum organised by the Monaco Hydrogen Alliance. This event is supported by Prince Albert II of Monaco, who will be present at the opening and deliver a speech.
In 2023, Ali Russel presented the Extreme H championship project. Since then, Symbio has been selected to supply its fuel cell, and the buggy has undergone an extensive testing program.
Previously, we’ve only seen the Pioneer 25, the prototype vehicle. However, in Monaco this morning, a green Extreme Hbuggy was on display, featuring all of its sponsors. The CEO of Formula E and Extreme E (from which Extreme H is derived) will be at the forum and is expected to share more details about the new championship.
