GRTgaz rebrands as NaTran to reflect its new ambitions

Twenty years after its creation, GRTgaz is turning a new page in its history by rebranding as NaTran. This name change embodies its ambition to become Europe’s leading operator for the transmission of renewable gases, hydrogen, and CO₂.

The new name highlights NaTran’s core mission as a NATional gas transmission operator while also reflecting its commitment to NATure and the energy TRANsition. It reinforces the company’s dedication to shaping the future of gas transport in Europe.

To introduce the new brand, NaTran is launching a multi-channel campaign. The refreshed visual identity underscores its role as an infrastructure operator, featuring a dynamic central ‘T’ that symbolises a network evolving with the energy transition. The company’s new tagline: “At the heart of your energy.”
