HRS steps up deployment of high-capacity stations
Hydrogen Refueling Solutions (HRS) has announced that it will have an installed base of 27 high-capacity stations by the end of the year.
After the successful installation of its first HRS40 (with a capacity of 1 tonne/day) last September at its Champagnier test site, the company is now deploying three more units of the same type simultaneously. These stations will be operational by the end of 2024 in Saint-Sulpice, Malataverne, and Lyon Saint-Exupéry.
Hassen Rachedi, CEO and Founder of HRS, commented: “Installing four 1-tonne/day hydrogen stations in just five months is a significant achievement, a unique feat globally, and a major step forward in the energy transition driven by HRS.”
HRS expects to have 27 stations installed across Europe by the end of the year, all of which will be high-capacity, exceeding 200 kg/day. The manufacturer is already announcing plans for capacities of up to 4 tonnes/day. Between now and 2026, HRS will install at least 29 additional stations, many of which will have 1 tonne/day capacities. As part of its international expansion, HRS is already present in seven countries worldwide.
