A European first, this high-capacity station is set to open in 2026, delivering up to 160 kg of hydrogen per hour.
While withholding details about the client or country, HRS has announced the development of a large-scale industrial solution featuring 160 kg/h compression capacity and six distribution terminals. This order strengthens HRS’s position in the rapidly growing European hydrogen market and reaffirms its expertise in infrastructure for heavy mobility. According to the company, the station will serve Europe’s largest hydrogen-powered public transport fleet to date.
Hassen Rachedi, founder and CEO of HRS, stated:
“This recognition from a major industry player in such an ambitious project validates our ongoing efforts to tackle the challenges of the energy transition. This first order for our high-capacity HRS 160 station marks a key milestone for HRS, rewarding our teams’ commitment to developing ever more efficient stations tailored to the market’s growing needs.”
HRS currently has 28 installed stations, ranging from 200 kg to 1 tonne per day, with a combined capacity exceeding 6 tonnes per day. The HRS 160 station now stands as the company’s latest flagship innovation.
