For the first time ever, Hysky will join forces with Hyports to bring together major players from the aeronautics industry on 25 and 26 March. The event will focus on breakthroughs in hydrogen technology—including batteries and engines—as well as e-SAF advancements.
In the absence of Airbus, which declined the invitation after postponing its hydrogen projects, participants will have the opportunity to explore Boeing’s vision. Steven Gillard, Director of Sustainable Development for Europe, will join a roundtable on general aviation to discuss Boeing’s decarbonisation roadmap (with a target of carbon neutrality by 2050) and to delve into SAF innovations.
Hydrogen aircraft innovators such as Zero Avia (delivering a keynote), Beyond Aero, Blue Spirit Aero, and the start-up Viraj H2 (from ISAE Supaero) will be present, along with H3 Dynamics, Skyhaul, and other key aeronautical players like EKPO and AVL. On the infrastructure front, representatives from ADP and Air Liquide (together as part of Hydrogen Airport), Vinci Airports, Stuttgart Airport, and EDEIS—an association representing small airports—will contribute.
Additional speakers include Ariane, which will co-host a panel on liquid hydrogen applications across maritime and aeronautics sectors alongside Kawasaki Heavy, EO Concept (Energy Observer), and Aresia; as well as Comworxx, who will outline their vision for e-SAF production near airports to transform them into mobility hubs.
Although the event takes place in Marseille, special attention will be given to the Francazal techno campus near Toulouse—a cutting-edge facility poised to serve the aeronautics sector.
