From January 28 to 30, 2025, the hydrogen industry will converge at Porte de Versailles for the latest edition of the Hyvolution trade show. Among the 600 exhibitors, the mobility sector will once again take center stage, showcasing key players and innovations.
Unfortunately, Hyvia will not be part of this year’s lineup. The joint venture between Renault and Plug is currently in receivership, with proceedings initiated by the Versailles Commercial Court on December 10, 2024. This absence is regrettable, as visitors would have had the chance to see the prototype of the new Master H2 E-Tech, previously unveiled at the IAA in Hanover and the Paris Motor Show.
Toyota Returns
Stellantis, however, will be present, represented by its Pro One division, which focuses on commercial vehicles. Hyvolution will serve as a platform for the group to reveal plans for its upcoming models. Toyota will also make a much-anticipated return to the event. The Japanese automaker, which leveraged the Paris Olympics to spotlight hydrogen technology, remains a strong advocate for its application in mobility. Several of its partners will also participate at Porte de Versailles.
The automotive sector is further bolstered by the presence of equipment manufacturers such as Forvia and OpMobility (featuring EKPO and ElringKlinger) and the engineering group FEV. Additionally, MissionH24, renowned for its role as a technological showcase in motorsport, will present the latest H24EVO prototype and share updates on its program aimed at bringing hydrogen to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A Debut for Hopium
The 2025 edition will mark the first appearance of Hopium, joining returning exhibitors like Hyliko and Hysetco. Having shifted its focus from hydrogen sports cars, Hopium is now concentrating on heavy mobility as a supplier of fuel cells. Visitors will undoubtedly be curious to explore what the company has to offer.
Other key players in the mobility sector include GCK, B.E. Green, Chereau, E-neo Vensys, Pipo Moteurs, EHM, and eHp2. The scope of innovation extends beyond road transport, with several exhibitors focusing on maritime applications—such as EODev—and aviation advancements.
Infrastructure and Subcontracting
Finally, subcontractors like Ad-Venta and major station providers, including Air Liquide, Atawey, Engie, H2 Gremm, HRS, Linde, and Resato, will also be featured, showcasing their pivotal role in hydrogen infrastructure.
