At the Paris Air Show, private jet operator Luxaviation announced its intention to join the SAF Zero initiative launched by Haffner Energy. In practical terms, Luxaviation’s involvement could include financial investment, strategic guidance, global promotion of the initiative, and purchase agreements for SAF Zero projects—such as the Paris-Vatry SAF facility.
Sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) are a key focus for Luxaviation, which launched the Go-to-Zero investment fund in 2023 to help scale up SAF production.
“By combining our operational expertise with Haffner Energy’s cutting-edge technologies, we are taking a decisive step towards a cleaner and more responsible future for aviation,” said Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group.
Both companies are also part of SkyPower, an international coalition of business leaders working to accelerate the development and deployment of sustainable aviation fuels.
