Movano Hydrogen Wins Prestigious Award in the UK

Stellantis’ new full-size van Movano Hydrogen, branded under Vauxhall, wins an award from What Van? magazine during its 2025 Awards ceremony.

The hydrogen-powered Movano received the Editor’s Choice award. This honor recognizes vehicles that push boundaries and set new standards in the automotive industry. As the latest addition to Vauxhall’s hydrogen-powered lineup, which also includes the Vivaro, the Movano Hydrogen offers a range of up to 500 km (311 miles according to the WLTP cycle). Its tanks can store 7 kg of hydrogen, allowing refueling in just five minutes.

Hydrogen: A Smart Choice for Large Vans

“Stellantis entered the market early with a medium-sized hydrogen van. Now, it’s responding to demand for larger vans where hydrogen technology makes more sense in terms of load capacity and range,” said James Dallas, editor of What Van?. He added, “For long-distance operators, hydrogen could be better suited than battery-electric technology.”

Several companies, including some of the UK’s largest fleets, have already tested the Movano Hydrogen ahead of its official launch. Orders for this innovative van will open early next year.
