Toyota: news of the Phrygemobile, heading to Germany

Do you remember the red Toyota Mirai covered in Paris 2024 mascots? Well, we can tell you what’s become of it.

This is not the kind of news that is hanging around the web. At *LMH2, we learnt from a well-informed source that the Phrygemobile returned to France just a few days ago. Not for long though. It spent just half a day at Toyota France’s headquarters in Vaucresson (Hauts-de-Seine) and made a short diversions to Garches hospital. The car generated so much sympathy that motorists stopped when they saw it to take some photos.

It then left for Belgium, where Toyota Motor Europe is headquartered. And the Phrygemobile will be heading to Germany soon. It will be on display at the Toyota Collection Museum in Cologne. The Toyota Collection grew out of a museum opened by Peter Pichert, a Toyota dealer from the very beginning, in Hartkirchen near Passau. Following the death of the collector in 2016, Toyota Deutschland agreed with the family to take over these treasures. The group is now presenting all the highlights of the Toyota Collection at the company’s headquarters in Cologne.
