The first production Toyota Mirai vehicles have officially reached Europe this weekend, in Bristol, UK and Zeebrugge, Belgium. At this time, only five cars have arrived. But, there will be more in the next weeks.
The first fuel cell car from the japanese brand will be launched in Europe from September in the UK, Denmark and Germany. Sales will begin in regions where hydrogen stations are in place. Toyota plans to sell between 50 and 100 units per year in 2015 and in 2016. There will be a second wave in 2017, according to the development of the infrastructure.
Toyota reminds that just 15 years ago, it was the arrival of the first-generation Prius in Europe. From 2000 to 2015, is it back to the future on the old continent ?
