At the opening of the Hyvolution show, France Hydrogène took stoke of the main figures about hydrogen in France. They are progressing.
“The place to be”, “the largest exhibition in Europe”: it was with these words that Philippe Boucly kicked off the exhibition. On the association’s booth, a panel is displaying the main indicators.
Thus, there are currently 13 MW of electrolysis capacity, taking into account recharging stations (in cities such as Pau, Artois-Gohelle, Auxerre) and production sites such as Bouin in the Vendée region. “We are merely at the start” highlighted Mr Boucly. Indeed, these capacities need to be increased 500 fold in order to reach the objective of 6.5 GW by 2030.
As regards to mobility, there are 58 stations, not all of them open to the public. The target remains 1,000 by the end of the decade. There are also 1155 hydrogen vehicles in France, including 33 buses, 240 bicycles, 1 refuse collection vehicle, 550 cars, 325 forklifts and 3 trucks.
In addition, there are 37 stationary installations with a capacity of 2,400 kW. And there are 19 plants.
