The CES in Las Vegas is turning into a real hydrogen show as Symbio is there for the second year in a row, taking the opportunity to showcase its solutions.

The fuel cell manufacturer is exhibiting alongside Forvia (one of its shareholders, along with Michelin and Stellantis). This is an opportunity to present its StackPack 75 for the first time in the United States. A 75 kW “mid power” fuel cell system that is twice more compact and 20% lighter than the competition, according to the company.

The USA represents major potential for Symbio, which already has operations in California to integrate fuel cells on board Freightliner trucks. A gigafactory for fuel cells could be set up in the US. In addition, the company can count on Stellantis, which is keen to extend its range to commercial vehicles, particularly pick-ups for the American market.

The company is represented by Vincent Abad, Vice President for Research and Innovation.
