Green cars displayed in Paris ahead of COP21

From July 3rd to 8th, Innov’Climat exhibition is organised by the french ministry of Sustainable Development, CGI (commission for research investment) and ADEME (french energy agency), in partnership with the Mayor of Paris. Open to the general public, this event is the opportunity to discover alternative modes of mobility (electric bikes, car sharing, multimodal route planner) and greener cars.

French OEMs present electrified cars. Renault is shwocasing Eolab, the 1 liter car with a plug in hybrid powertrain and a lot of innovative features (lightweight construction with 400 kg saved, compared to a conventional car). PSA Peugeot Citroën has chosen to display the VeLV : an urban all electric vehicle.

Valeo, which is a famous automotive supplier, is in the exhibition too with Hybrelec : a plug in hybrid car based on a Citroën C3 Picasso.

The only hydrogen powered car is the HyKangoo from SymbioFCell, with a fuel cell range extender. It’s one the vehicles used for the HyWay program in Lyon and Grenoble.

This free exhibition displaying green cars is a way to show that France is innovative, a few months ahead of COP21. A world conference on climate change.
