Hydrogen-powered handling robots by Pragma and TAUR

At the Hyvolution trade fair, Pragma Industries and TAUR, a French company specialising in robotic platforms for industrial transport and last-mile delivery solutions, made their collaboration official. They will jointly develop a hydrogen powered version.

The ‘TAUR-H2’ will therefore be a 100% hydrogen version of TAUR’s handling robots, whose autonomy will be tripled compared to solutions based on electric batteries. A first prototype will be delivered by the end of December 2023.

Bound by an exclusive three-year contract, the two partners have announced their joint intention to develop a new range of TAUR autonomous forklifts that will incorporate the hydrogen fuel cell modules developed by Pragma Industries (from 500 W to 11 KW). They will also collaborate on a prototype frame that can carry up to five metric tonnes of load from the existing ones.
