Hy24, the French manager of the world’s largest investment fund dedicated entirely to low-carbon hydrogen, continues to make its mark on the green hydrogen sector with a new strategic investment. This Tuesday, Hy24 unveiled a major partnership with Singapore’s GIC fund. They will jointly invest $115 million in equity capital in InterContinental Energy, an ambitious project development company.
The aim of the partnership is to support the deployment of InterContinental Energy’s portfolio of green hydrogen projects in Australia and the Middle East, which rank among the most advanced clean hydrogen projects in the world. A clear ambition has been defined: to reach 100 gigawatts (GW) of installed renewable energy capacity, including 10 GW by 2030.
