The hydrogen-powered taxis manufacturer, Hype, appears in the list of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games as an “Official Sponsor”. A title that enables the company to provide vehicles to transport the accredited guests.
For the first time in the history of The Olympics and Paralympics, Paris 2024 will lean on a taxi Crit’Air 0 as an official sponsor, that is Hype. In this context, the player will mobilise its fleet of zero-emission vehicles to cover the needs of the accredited personnel, as well as contribute to reducing climate and health impact of a transport. A transport with a growing demand, during and after the games. By way of comparison, Air Liquide is also among the official sponsors.
Hype will provide Paris 2024 with Cirt’Air 0 taxis adapted to the Transport of Persons with Reduced Mobility (TPRM), launched in 2022. These vehicles will meet the targets set by Paris 2024 in terms of decarbonization and inclusion by catering to the special needs of people with disabilities attending the event. Still on the topic of disabilities, another player, namely Hysetco, announced through a LinkedIn post that the Prefecture of Paris had awarded it 108 licences to transport wheelchair users. More on the matter will be revealed during the Hyvolution 2024 Show.
As for Toyota, it is one of the international partners of Paris 2024.
