Hyvia unveils the hydrogen Master

Hyvia has unveiled the hydrogen-powered Renault Master Van at an online conference organised by Plugpower. This first vehicle resulting from the cooperation between the French manufacturer and the American fuel cell manufacturer is equipped with a 30 kW battery and is based on Plug Power’s ProGen technology platform. The new van, which includes a load volume of over 12 m3 (about 424 ft3), will be available in 2022. It has a range of up to 500 km (about 311mi) and can be refilled in just a few minutes.

Two other versions will follow later: the Master Chassis Cab H2-TECH (a large van with even more cargo space (19 m3-about 671 ft3) and a range of around 250 km (about 155mi)), and the Master Citybus H2-TECH (an urban minibus that can carry up to 15 passengers, perfect for companies, municipalities or local public services, with a range of around 300 km (about 186 mi)).

In addition, Hyvia offers an ecosystem that includes the production of green hydrogen (electrolysers) and its distribution (hydrogen refuelling station).
