Renowned adventurer and Inocel co-founder Mike Horn visited the exhibition yesterday, reaffirming his commitment to the company as it continues to grow. He remains deeply involved and optimistic about its future.
Speculation about his presence at the show began on Tuesday afternoon, and sure enough, he arrived yesterday at around 3pm. We had the opportunity to see him later in the day and exchange a few words. Ever the explorer, constantly between expeditions, Mike was in great spirits. With his trademark smile, he expressed his pride in Inocel’s achievements, praising the dedication of the company’s 100 engineers, who, in his words, “work flat out to find solutions.”
Horn emphasised that he is “100% committed.” He described Inocel as a “blessed gift” and stressed that its mission to decarbonise the planet is a long-term endeavour. In addition to his role at Inocel, he is also an ambassador for Poséidon, a hydrogen-powered vessel equipped with Inocel’s in-house fuel cells, which was unveiled last year in Monaco.
Inocel has also partnered with Equans to develop a turnkey energy storage solution. Based on Inocel’s battery technology—designed for stationary applications with a capacity ranging from 300 kW to several MW—this solution is aimed at port infrastructure (electrification of quays) and smart grids (load shedding and balancing of electricity networks).
Back in 2022, Mike Horn introduced Inocel’s vision at Hyvolution. You can watch the video on Hyvolution’s YouTube channel.
