MissionH24, the prototype used to develop hydrogen at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, will be on display at the Retromobile show, from 1st to 5th February (as of 31st January for professionals) in Paris. One may think it a brilliant way to mark the centenary of the event.
In June 2023, the world’s most famous endurance race will celebrate its 100th birthday. It was indeed in 1923 that the 24 Hours of Le Mans was born. And the ‘Automobile Club de l’Ouest’ (ACO) wants to highlight the role that the race has played regarding automotive innovation. This is why the hydrogen-powered car from MissionH24, the programme developed in collaboration between the ACO and GreenGT, will be on display at the Retromobile show. It will be prominently displayed on one of the two stands of the club based in the Sarthe (Western France). This prototype’s aim is to prepare the future of motor sport with a zero emission competition.
On the “100 years of innovation” exhibition, in hall 2, the MissionH24 car will join 3 vehicles, the Tracta (front-wheel drive), the Hownet (turbine engine) and the Lola T600 (aerodynamic) which raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
