Start-up, NamX, which is developing a hydrogen-powered SUV with a parallel cartridge system, has won an award at the VivaTech show in Paris. A boost that could help the company raise funds.
At VivaTech, NamX founder Faouzi Annajh told H2 Today how pleased he was to have been invited by the organisers. In fact, he was also shortlisted for the innovation awards. The start-up won the award in the Mobility and Smart City category, as indicated by the CEO on his LinkedIn account, relaying the article published in *Les Echos on Saturday.
As we reported earlier, NamX is looking for funding. Its aim is to launch its SUV in 2027, with a price tag of between €75,000 and €95,000. The start-up has opted for a V8 engine rather than a fuel cell. And its approach is to create an ecosystem, just like the hydrogen cartridges that complement the fuel tank.
*Les Echos is the first daily French financial newspaper, founded in 1908. It has an economic liberal stance.
