Rasa : a welsh car powered by hydrogen

Riversimple company has just revealed an hyedrogen powered sports car built in Wales. Its name is Rasa. It comes from “tabula rasa”, a Latin phrase that reflects the idea that something new begins, not with predetermined structure and characteristics, but with a blank slate.

The target was to build a local car, at a cost that is affordable – and without leaving a heavy footprint of air pollution and environmental degradation. To do this, Riversimple selected a still evolving, but incredibly promising and safe technology :the hydrogen fuel cell.

The promise is a car great to drive, safe to drive, fun to drive, and light in every respect of the word, quick to refuel, and with a super strong framework of carbon fibre.
