Stellantis supplies Hysetco with hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles

Stellantis new division, Pro One, announces the first deliveries of the Peugeot e-Expert Hydrogen to the Taxi operator, Hysetco. A first in Europe.

The company has already announced an order of 150 vehicles at the Hyvolution show earlier this year. The vehicles will be marketed to professionals as part of the HysetCo package. This package covers all associated services (servicing, maintenance and repairs, insurance, relay vehicles, administrative formalities, training, etc.). These vehicles will be specifically equipped for passenger transport (wheelchair-accessible taxis, shuttles, etc.), logistics or other professional uses (commercial vehicles).

Stellantis points out that the deployment of this fleet of hydrogen-powered vehicles over several months will be the largest of its kind for this type of application. “We are the first manufacturer in the world to market a range of hydrogen electric vehicles covering two segments and offer our customers a solution to complement electric vehicles,” stated Xavier Peugeot, Stellantis Senior vice President.

The year 2024 is off to a good start for the Group, which witnessed an increase in volume of 20.6%. It now holds a 33% market share of the electrified vehicle segment and a 31% share of all energy sources combined. By 2030, Stellantis is looking at a 40% share in its range of electric LCVs powered by batteries, fuel cells and range extenders.
