TMP orders 500 H2 trucks from Quantron

The German start-up has announced a large order from TMP Logistics, an American group specialising in logistics.

The agreement was signed in the wings of the Hydrogen Americas Summit 2022, a conference held last Friday in Washington. Germany backed the event through its delegation that attended the event. The order is for 500 hydrogen trucks, to be delivered by 2024. Quantron will offer a package including rental and services.

The company’s CEO, Michael Perschke, is pleased to contribute to the hydrogen-driven plan announced by Joe Biden.

The U.S. market is huge, with 300,000 vehicles for Class 8 trucks. The share of electric trucks (battery and hydrogen) is expected to grow from 2,000 this year to 35,000 by 2034.
