Hyvolution Chile: schedule of the second day

Hyvolution Chile schedule

As the second day of Hyvolution Chile is just starting, here’s the schedule of the day. Today will be divided into 5 one-hour panels, (3 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon).

Morning schedule

10.00 – 11.00: The day will begin with a panel on “Progress in green hydrogen projects in Chile.” The experts present will discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field of green hydrogen in Chile. During this exchange, experts from H2 Chile, EBP, AES Andes, Colbun S.A and EDF Renewables Chile will share their experiences and visions.

11:00 – 12:00: The next topic will be “New uses and applications of green hydrogen in mining, transport, logistics and other industries.” This panel will explore the emerging opportunities for green hydrogen in various industries. We will hear from ABB, Alstom Power, First Mode, HINICIO and thyssenkrupp, the discussion promises to be rich in ideas and innovative perspectives.

12.30 – 1.30 pm: To round off the morning, a final panel will be held on “Inputs for the production of green hydrogen: electrolyzers, water and others.” This panel will look at the key components in the production of green hydrogen. Experts from Sundyne LLC, ACADES, HINICIO, Instruvalve Chile, Cummins Inc. and TRA | Environmental Remediation Technologies will discuss the opportunities and challenges involved.

Afternoon schedule

15:00 – 16:00: The afternoon will start with the following panel: “The Chile-Europe hydrogen value chain: what are the next steps?”
During this panel, moderated by Clemens Mueller-Falcke of McKinsey & Company, guests will discuss how to strengthen collaboration in the hydrogen value chain between Chile and Europe. Mikaa Mered will be taking part in the discussion, alongside Jon Leal, CEO of EDF Chile, and Alejandro Buvinic, Chile’s Under-Secretary for International Economic Relations.

16:30 – 17:30: Finally, the day will come to a close with a global look at the future of green hydrogen. The last panel of the day will focus on “the reality of green hydrogen in Latin America, Europe and the rest of the world.”

Leading international experts will be taking part in the conversation. Including Giselle Canahuati from IILA, María José Navajas Domínguez from Corfo Magallanes, Daniel Camac from H2 Peru, Federico Bernardelli from Chile’s Ministry of Energy and Mónica Gasca Rojas from Hidrógeno Colombia. Isabella Boese Cortés, study coordinator at H2 Chile, will lead the discussion.

A special evening to round off the 2nd day of Hyvolution Chile

A special event will be held this evening from 7pm to midnight. It is called “la noche del hidrógeno” (the night of hydrogen). We will tell you all about this event tomorrow morning.
