The french region Pays de la loire launches Planet Hydrogen

During the Hyvolution exhibition, the Pays de la Loire region launched the brand “Planète Hydrogène” (Hydrogen Planet). This generic name has been registered in order to show the full potential of “Atlantic energies” presented as the “energies of the future”. The region explains In a brochure that it has an “already well established and mature hydrogen industry” (3 territorial ecosystems, laboratories, chains of excellence such as motor sports, maritime, river and port sectors, etc.).

The region is at the forefront thanks to Lhyfe (green hydrogen in the Vendée from wind turbines), the hydrogen-powered Navibus in Nantes, projects in the port of Saint-Nazaire and the MissionH24 car of the 24-hour race from Le Mans (two vehicles are on display outside the show).

The Pays de la Loire region has planned to have 15 distribution stations and 15,000 vehicles powered by green hydrogen. It plans to invest 100 million euros between now and 2030.
