Japanese manufacturer, Toyota, which has built a fleet of 10 vehicles in the UK, will be deploying 5 of these to Paris as part of the partnership for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Although SUVs (and even less so pick-ups) are not particularly popular in the French capital, there will indeed be hydrogen-powered Toyota Hiluxes at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The company has announced that 5 vehicles will be involved in customer and media demos at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. By introducing its customers to fuel cell technology, Toyota will be able to demonstrate that hydrogen mobility can actually be a viable option.
