Hyliko aims for type approval and prepares its refuelling itinerary

One of the attendees at Hyvolution 2024, the mobility player is to announce its first deployments. Hyliko is working on type approval and roaming agreements for its customers.

As previously announced, the retrofitted 26-tonnes HGV (with GreenGT and a Toyota fuel cell) is currently undergoing trials in real life conditions. Several drivers working for transport companies were given the opportunity to test-drive the truck on a closed track in order to gather their feedback and improving the driving experience. Type approval tests are scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

In January 2024, the vehicle refuelled in Saint-Priest near Lyon, at one of Hympulsion’s fixed stations. This company forged a partnership with the AURA region‘s network, during the Solutrans show, in order to benefit from a roaming agreement for its full service solution. This first refuelling is a part of the assessment of inter-operability requirements between Hyliko’s vehicles and the partner hydrogen supply stations.

The player aims to provide hauliers with the widest coverage of hydrogen supply in France.

Upon type approval and obtaining certification, Hyliko expects to deliver its first retrofit hydrogen trucks in the second quarter of 2024.
