McPhy has found a new CEO specialised in scaling up

McPhy has announced the appointment of Jean-Baptiste Lucas as the company’s new CEO. He will take office on October 18. The former Péchiney employee has held positions related to innovation, processes and scaling up.

Luc Poyet, who remains McPhy’s Chairman of the Board of Directors said: “As we announced last July, the Group has conducted a demanding and open selection process for the recruitment of a new CEO. Jean-Baptiste Lucas has a solid and successful international experience.”

It is but a coincidence if Jean-Baptiste Lucas’ appointment happened on the day President Macron spoke about hydrogen. A happy coincidence or intelligence related to the situation, according to Luc Poyet.
