On LinkedIn, Renault’s subsidiary is sharing its roadtrip. Leaving Flins (near Paris), a Hyvia hydrogen-powered Master is following Alpine F1 team to the F1 DutchGP. Indeed, the event will take place this very weekend in the famous circuit of Zandvoort.

As you probably know, Hyvia is a partner of Alpine F1. The Formula 1 agenda includes a Grand Prix in the Netherlands this weekend. The country is of great interest to the Renault and Plug joint venture. Here’s the article we wrote about it. And we took advantage of the occasion to interview David Holderbach, the company’s CEO. You can watch the video (in French) here.

Hyvia announced in May that it was planning a hydrogen mobility conference on 25 August, with its partners Plug Power, Renault Group, BWT Alpine F1 Team and Renault Group Netherlands, during the F1 DutchGP in Zandvoort. The road trip is therefore a way of showing that it is possible to cover long distances with a hydrogen-powered vehicle and to refuel along the way.
